Taking these supplements three times per day improves ones skin condition significantly. The recommended dose for these vitamins is 400mg of Vitamin E and 100mg of Niacin. For the best results, people should consume these vitamins daily for a month without fail. The results are an acne free skin and it is advisable to eat a balanced diet rich in vitamins to ensure that they do not recur.

Other home remedies for acne include using the neem soap two times in a day to wash the face. Lukewarm water is recommended for this treatment. Ripe tomato pulp is also a valuable home treatment for acne. People should apply the pulp on their skins and leave it in for about one hour. They should then rinse it out with lukewarm water. People with non-sensitive skins should go for fresh lemon juice whereby they apply it on the affected areas. They should leave this overnight and rinse it off in the morning with warm water. This lemon juice may cause irritations to sensitive skins and that is why it is only recommended for those whose skins are not sensitive.
